GWAR 'AMERICA MUST BE DESTROYED' CLEAR WITH RED AND BLACK SPLATTER LP

A characteristically bizarre concept album, GWAR’s third LP, 1991’s America Must Be Destroyed, tells a wild story that kicks off with the theft of Oderus Urungus’ prized phallus — the Cuttlefish of Cthulhu — by a self-appointed “Morality Squad.” The hijinks that follow include a dinosaur egg shot up with crack, a psycho T-Rex hatched from said egg and much more. The music is wild, too — from grind-tastic opener “Ham on the Bone” to closer “Pussy Planet,” which bears suspicious similarity to Nirvana’s “Rape Me,” released two years later.

This exclusive vinyl variant -- pulled from the Metal Blade box set that is also still on sale -- is being sold separately in super limited quantities along with other records from the set.
