Within two years of their 2010 debut, Ghost went from the buzziest and most mysterious band in metal to one of the genre’s premier acts. Infestissiumam (Latin for “very” or “most hostile”) landed them on the then-new Loma Vista Recordings label, which was an imprint of Universal Music Group’s Republic Records, thus making it the Swedish satanist’s major-label debut.
